In 2006 while  pregnant, the idea for Sparrow was born out of the need to bring meaningful,eco-friendly, well designed baby and childrens gear to my local neighborhood.  I had looked for what I liked ,wanted and needed and it could'nt be found,so I decided to do something about it.  Together with my husband Brian, we opened Sparrow with a small well edited selection of clothing, toys and unique furniture pieces.  We hope to spread our positive message of sustainable business practices, recycling,re-using,and re-ducing whenever possible.
