The simple beauty of a menu

Whenever I'm working on a menu, my first thought is...wow, that food looks good!  My stomach growls and I continue working.  Ok, maybe I get a snack.  This menu for our local museum, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, went beyond the appeal of the food and added additional visual flair with hand calligraphy.  The menu was letterpressed on our 2 ply museum board in a grand 5.5 x 9.5 size.  We also provided hand calligraphed escort sets, placecards and table numbers.
