The Poppies Invitation

The pretty poppies have moved onto the invitation.  Just a refresher - this was the save the date!

We were so excited to get to the invitation stage of Megan and Scott's wedding!  Working with eco-conscious clients really allow us to flex our green muscles and work with some materials we are particularly proud of.  The invitation itself is letterpressed on our 2 ply museum board made from unbleached cotton.  Megan mailed me a sample of her bridesmaids dresses to match a really lovely shade of teal.  The 3 color invitation was enhanced with a twine tie and tag.  The twine is made from 100% recycled paper in a tissue weight that is twisted into a cording.  The tag was used as an inner envelope substitute, avoiding the use of an extra envelope.  The main envelope is made of recycled brown grocery bags and pressed with a chocolate return address.  They opted for a reply postcard, also the more eco-friendly option.  Finally, each envelope and tag was calligraphed with the address and guests' names in white and teal.  This invitation suite came together so beautifully and represents their wedding day and concern for our environment harmoniously.
