Less fruity?  Maker's Mark has gone green.  Their distillery sits on a state-certified nature preserve and has a state-of-the-art recycling and wastewater treatment. Recently, Maker’s Mark began using anaerobic digestion, a process that turns waste into bio-gas that is used for energy, offsetting up to 30 percent of the distillery’s natural gas use.  So use Maker's Mark in a traditional Manhattan, Old Fashioned or straight up for an instant sustainable drink.  Check out markersmark.com for those classic recipes.

For a great non-alcoholic beverage or a nice mixer, try Steaz Organic Green Tea Soda (plus their website is tres cool.)  Their alternative soda flavors will hit the spot, like key lime or raspberry. www.steaz.com

Blue Sky Beverage Company also has organic sodas and natural sodas - drinkbluesky.com
